Today, april 28 is international superhero day! a day where we honor all heroes, both fictional and real heros, this day is all about celebrating heroes who make us want to do good and inspire us to be better versions of ourselves.
During all of our life time, we often tend to look and be inspired by someone; For some it might be a fictional character, for others it might be a real person in our life, like a teacher, a parent, etc, and for some it might be a celebrity, but we all look up to them because they inspire us, we see ourselves in them and feel motivated to be better and to do better for others. The first ever superhero day was celebrated on april 28, 1995, and it was initiated by marvel employees, and it was created with the idea of honoring those who serve, protect and fight evil!
so, how can we celebrate this day?
We all have heroes in our life, our mother, father, parent, a friend, a significant other, etc, so the best you can do on this day is give them a gift, take them out for lunch, spend a day with that person that inspires you and show them how much you appreciate them, tell them how grateful you are for having them around you.
Not only them, but also doctors, nurses, police, firefighters, etc, deserve recognition on this day! you can surprise them with a gift, dedicate them a post on social media, and show them that all of their hard work is being recognised, that you are grateful that they work so hard to help other people.
Other fun ways you can celebrate it is by dressing up as your favorite superhero, watching/reading superhero movies/ comics, sharing your favorite superheros online or even drawing yourself as a superhero!
