Let’s take a trip down memory lane!

Remember your childhood? When everything was joyful and sweet, afternoons meant having ice cream and playing with your neighborhood friends in your backyard. Life was so easy back then, but we grew up and all of that went away, so let’s take a moment to remember those precious times.

Some of my happiest memories from my childhood were watching cartoons with my brothers, so what better way to remember our childhood than to revisit some of the best cartoons of the time.

First up, there is «The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy». This cartoon used to air in «Cartoon Network» and it was one of my favorites! The story follows a very cheerful and happy boy named Billy and Mandy, a cynical, remorseless girl who is quite the opposite of Billy but besides their differences, they have a great friendship. Mandy, after winning a limbo game to save Billy’s pet hamster, gain the mighty Grim Reaper as their best friend in eternal servitude and slavery. Together, the three best friends go on all sorts of crazy adventures, make sure to tag along!

Next, there is «Codename: Kids Next Door». This cartoon used to air in «Cartoon Network» and I remember watching it while sitting in the couch, eating mac & cheese! The story follows the crazy adventures of a diverse group of five 5th grade children, who operate from a high-tech tree house, fighting against adult and teen villains with advanced technology (classic kids vs adults!). Using their codenames (1, 2, 3 ,4 and 5) they are part of a global organizations called The Kids Next Door. While fighting evil adults, their adventures would be quite awesome! You wouldn’t want to miss out…

Another great one is «Dexter’s Laboratory». It used to air on Cartoon Network and I remember how fun it was to watch Dexter come up with all those crazy ideas! The story follows Dexter, a boy-genius and inventor, with a hidden high-tech laboratory in his room, which he keeps a secret from his parents, so he can perform his crazy experiments in peace. Dexter must keep his sister, Dee Dee out of his lab, as she is always gaining access and messing up all of his plans. At the same time, he must attend his bitter rivalry with Mandark, a fellow boy-genius who is his neighbor and classmate. Make sure to witness Dexters crazy experiments!

Last, but certainly not least, there is «Courage the Cowardly Dog». This cartoon used to air on «Cartoon Network» and I remember that as a kid, it would sometimes be a little creepy! The story follows Courage, a funny looking dog that lives with an elderly couple in a farmhouse in the middle of «Nowhere». In each episode, the trio is thrown into a bizarre, kinda creepy and often supernatural misadventures. It is quite fun to see Courage beat his never ending fears in order to save those he loves!

It felt great looking back on those great cartoons we used to watch as kids! Take advantage of this weekend and arrange a cartoon marathon with your friends! I’m sure you’ll have a great time reminiscing on the past.
