I know this one is a little old but it is still gold. This animated series from Canada spoofs survival programs by recounting the misadventures at Camp Wawanakwa, an island retreat where 22 teens compete in extreme challenges for the $100,000 grand prize. Each season is filled with very well structured characters and a great plotline.

While this show isn’t necessarily directed towards adults it sure is worth the time. Gravity Falls is an American animated mystery comedy television series created by Alex Hirsch for Disney Channel and Disney XD. The series follows the adventures of Dipper Pines and his twin sister Mabel who are sent to spend the summer with their great-uncle Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon, a mysterious town full of paranormal forces and supernatural creatures. The kids help Stan run «the Mystery Shack», the tourist trap that he owns, while also investigating the local mysteries. It’s a great mystery show that has great wit, fantastic writing, and many jokes. Almost like a more clever Scooby Doo. Each episode builds on each other and has great call backs with a bigger mystery to solve episode by episode.
