A closer look at happiness.

Happiness is an emotion in which you feel satisfaction, well being or achieving a goal, but happiness depends from person to person, it will never be the same for everyone.

But to understand what happiness is, we have to understand what it is composed of. There are four chemical substances that together cause this feeling of happiness: endorphin, serotonin, dopamine and oxytocin.

Endorphin: Endorphins are endogenous opioid peptides that function as neurotransmitters. They are produced by the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland. (16 aa chain).

Serotonin: 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) or serotonin is a neurotransmitter that is synthesized from the transformation of the amino acid tryptophan. Its chemical formula is (C10H12N2O).

Dopamine: Neurotransmitter that is present in various areas of the brain and is especially important for the motor function of the organism (C8H11NO2).

Oxytocin: is a hormone produced by the supraoptic and paraventricular nuclei of the hypothalamus that is released into the circulation through the neurohypophysis. (C43H66N12O12S2).

This is basically what happiness looks like from a chemical point of view, but this is not a bad thing, this had to come from somewhere.

To give another perspective on happiness, we will show the thoughts of some of the greatest philosophers in history.

Aristotle believes that the supreme good of man is happiness. This is the highest virtue. But unlike his teacher Plato, for whom the Good is unique, happiness (or the good in Aristotle) consists in the perfect exercise of the happiness (or the good in Aristotle) consists in the perfect exercise of every activity proper to man. of every activity proper to man. In this sense, there are many kinds of good, each of them linked to a different virtue.

In my opinion happiness is the maximum objective of humanity together with procreation, when you are happy is the maximum point that can be reached, and I believe that once you are happy with the life you have, is the moment when someone can be considered successful.

There is no formula or manual to be happy since happiness is different for everyone, but the only thing that can be considered a guide to happiness is life, one has to know oneself and with that learn to be happy.
